The short version
We collect almost nothing. We don't make you create an account, and your calculator inputs never leave your device. Use the tools, get your answer, leave. That's it.
What we collect
Analytics (anonymous): We may use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages get visited, so we know what to improve. This doesn't identify you personally.
Calculator inputs: Your wake-up time, age group, shift hours, and similar inputs are processed entirely in your browser. They never reach our servers โ we don't store them, see them, or sell them.
What we DON'T do
โข Sell your personal data to third parties
โข Track you across the wider web for our own profiling
โข Require an account or collect your name to use the tools
โข Let advertising compromise the accuracy of our calculators
Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Even though we collect very little, you have full rights under GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and equivalents. You can request access to any data we hold, correction, deletion, or a portable copy. Email wakeup@bestsleepcalc.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Today we don't set our own tracking cookies. When we introduce advertising, our partners (for example, an ad network or affiliate program) may set cookies to measure performance โ and we'll add a cookie-consent notice and the details here before that begins. You'll always be able to see what's active.
Children
We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Our teen calculator bracket (13โ17) captures no personally identifiable information.
